Things That People Do

There are many different things that you can do out of school that will benefit yourself.  There are different sports that you might play, like soccer, for some people swimming, hockey,or any other thing that you might do at home besides the obvious:
1: Nothing
2: Watch tv
3: Sit and eat potato chips
4: Play on the most addictive thing that kids will do: Video games (not that I don’t, but that’s not all I ever do)
5: Apparently NEVER DO HOMEWORK

There are many things that people do. The things that I do are:
1: Go swimming
2: Go rock climbing
3: Almost every weekend go out to our farm.
There are also a lot of things that people can do, but they chose not to at some point in their day.  There are a lot of people that are very active, and then there are those that aren’t.

The things that I like doing the best are rock climbing and the third one.  I f hear that a lot of people will just go home and go straight to their X-box that they apparently need to be on with social life, and completely forget about the homework that is due for the next day.

There are a few questions that I want to ask you now:
1) What are the things that you do at home that you like or don’t/forced to do?
2) If you have many, or some, which ones do you like the best?
3) If you don’t normally do anything, then what do you do in your spare time?
4) If you don’t do anything at home, then how do you get exercise?

Boredom Striking Summer
If you are anything like me, you will find yourself constantly bored. Not only am I bored, I am not sitting on a beach in the Bahamas either. Thats another thing, vacationing is a drought in my family. Technically we do vacation, but its the same, only vacation we do. We get in the car, drive twelve hours straight to Kelowna, see my aunt and uncle for five days, and then go home. Done! I don’t want to be ungrateful but that is my one vacation for the entire year.

Another thing that makes me bored is that my friends are always busy. Especially my best friend. Every year, her and her family go to Mexico and swim with dolphins, take tours, stay in luxury hotels and drink freshly made smoothies. Okay I don’t know about the smoothies but I am always so jealous of everything else. But at least when she comes back she has a million photos. So at least I can pretend I was there.  And like my other friends, when we all go back to school, I sit and listen to their incredible summer tales, as I re-tell my family Kelowna adventures.

Okay now I have some questions:

  1. What do you do with your bored days?
  2. Do you vacation in the summer?
  3. If so, where?
SUPERHERO

If you could be “ANY”superhero which one would you be?You can even make your own if you want to.
Here are your basics of your model superhero:
1.Name:
2.What your powers do:
3.Hangout:
4.Bodysuit(what does he/she wear)
5.What are you trying to stop from saving the world?

(I’m gonna make make my own superhero)

#1.My name would be “Mother Nature”.
#2.I could control anything that's a plant,and weather.
#3.My hangout would be in a treehouse, that looks small on the outside but it’s huge on the inside.
#4.My suit will be tree vines with green leaves on it,and I would have a very strong skinny tree branch whipping stick.
#5.Well...I would fill up grasslands full of trees and plants.I would put a whole bunch of fruit trees in countries that don’t have enough to eat.

That’s my superhero.What’s yours?~Scoozie~

Usually, we drive to our vacation destinations because we usually stay in Canada but since we are going to the United States. I have to get on a plane for the first time. Help me!

- (1) Where are you going during the summer

- (2) Have you ever gone to disney world

Technology

Back when  technology was started to be made it wasnt as good as the newer things.
When we started to make it we thought that technology was going really fast but if you think about look at us with technology we are going really fast.Think about it back when our parents were in school there was no google. Every time they needed a video the teachers had to write a letter to the library and make them send us the video. We expect things instant now but think about what they used to have.I heard that when the first phone came out it took 5000 to install it in your car but, not a lot people had phones so who would you call? Could you imagine how big the phone would have been now phones are the size of our hands. In the future people are not going to need to rember to spell words because all they have to do is google it. If we have brought a Ipod back in time the people would think that it was from a space movie. We have found a way to make things touch screen. If teachers would ask to there kids what do you think would happen in the future? Most of them would say that there would be a way to send video to other people live. We have that now.

1) What do you think will happen in the future?

2) What do you think technology will do to us?

Basketball
Last weekend, I went to a basketball game and it was pretty cool I had cotton candy and one team got 24 points and one only got 16 points. Did you know that William Anthony "Tony" Parker, Jr. is a French professional basketball player who currently plays for the San Antonio Spurs of the National Basketball Association. Basketball is a wonderful sport and I enjoy it. My dad played basketball on a team with my uncle and he says that is where I get my “skills” from.

Basketball is a sport that all ages can play and it is very fun. Basketball is a sport played by two teams of five players on a rectangular court. The objective is to shoot a ball through a hoop 18 inches (46 cm) in diameter and 10 feet (3.0 m) high mounted to a backboard at each end. Basketball is one of the world's most popular and widely viewed sports.

Now for the questions:
1. Have you ever been to a basketball game before?
2. If so was it fun?
3. What did you learn from this?
A Small Town Society

Just recently, I have taken a trip to a small town where some of my family lives, and most of my family on my Mom's side was born. Now you have to understand that their population is 3,712. Our population is 817,498. You do the math. Anyway, this town is significantly small compared to Edmonton. If you think about how HUGE Edmonton is then you realize how many stores, and restaurants we have here.  They on the other side, have a very small selection, and all their buildings are old fashioned. It is a very quaint little town.

We usually don’t think about the upside in living in a big city, but we can always seem to find the downsides. In Edmonton, we have more than two thousand stores! They have maybe thirty. Now although it is much smaller, it has lot’s of nice scenery and good weather, and  is close to the beautiful Rocky Mountains!

My favourite part is the painted buildings! Along the buildings, they have cute little paintings of children and their parents, and cowboys herding cows. They are painted onto brick buildings, and it really makes the paint noticeable! Some of them are tall buildings that have windows and they paint people on them that makes them look like they are looking out their window or  doing something! It’s some really nice scenery.

Now for the questions:

1. Have you ever heard or been to Pincher Creek
2. Have you ever been to a small town? What was it like? What did you see? How many people live there?
3. Would you have any interest in going to Pincher Creek? Why?

On the weekend

On the weekend i helped my sister and her boyfriend plast dip there trucks black.Plasty dip is a black paint that you spray on any object of your veicle.my sister and her boyfriend put it on the mirrors, gas cap, rims, bumper and the grill. The point of the spray is to get rid of the glare and chrome and its not a shiny black it is a rough dark black it looks cool when you see it.If you have a regular bumper with a glare then you spray this on and voilla you have no glare at all. That is what i did on the weekend, but i still have some questions.

1.Do you know of anyone that has done this before.

2.Has anyone in your family ever done anything to there vehicle to make it look cool.

3.What did you do on the weekend.

Bullying and Immature Language

Bullying: I absolutely hate it when people bully others, because it makes me feel horrible inside. I wish that bullying would end, not because it harms peoples reputation to others, but it also changes how the act around others. Same goes for swearing. Swearing may be good for getting out anger, but if you keep swearing, it becomes a habit. Its a bad habit to get into. So is bullying. I have been bullied since kindergarten. It is not fun, nor helpful for the years ahead. Even for junior high or high school, the bullying gets worse if you haven’t been bullied a lot. For everyone who bullies others, then you have a bad reputation with the people you bullied (except for our teacher). All of us division two students know about cyber bullying and how it is harmful on our lives. There will be people to replace the thinkers and the stinkers.

Now for the Questions
1. How do you feel about bullying?
2. Have you ever been bullied?
3. If so how did you feel?

Feel free to answer the questions.

Places to go Things to see

Have you ever wondered about the things you want to do or see in life.

I know I have, my dream start out small and then big.The first place I have gone that I can remember is British Columbia. My Mom and I stayed at a friend's house for just under one week, then we were camping the rest of the time, we were in British Columbia for two weeks. When we were there we did so much exciting stuff like, we bike almost every day. The most impressive thing me and my mom did is hiking and walking. I know that hiking and walking is not that impressive, hiking and walking 94 km in two weeks is! The most relaxing thing we did when we were camping is after a long day, we sat by the fire eating smores. When it was time to go, mom and I did not want to leave but we had to.

When we got back to the house, my mom woke me up,because I was asleep for the whole car ride home. When I got inside the house my mom went to bed and I went to my room to decide the next place I wanted to go, and it was Portugal.

As you can see, I have not travelled much. If you have I want you to tell me where you went, when and did you like the trip.
