Favourite Animals

As most of you know, my favourite animal is the turtle which is most likely because of my love for dinosaurs and most prehistoric animals. I have caught a turtle on a fishing rod and the design on the bottom was red and yellowish.I believe it was a box turtle. I want you to know that the turtle stereotypes are not true! Turtles are fast. I put it in the center of the dock and it was off in seconds. The next morning I saw two more turtles swim out from under the dock.

My favourite dinosaur is the pachycephalosaurus, followed closely by the stegosaurus which is followed closely by the spinosaurus. For you who don’t know what a pachycephalosaurus is, it is a dinosaur with a bony head that they use to battle over breeding rights and to defend themselves. If these three collided in a heated battle, the pachycephalosaurus  would probably lose just because it has little defense. Then it would be between the stegosaurus and the spinosaurus. The spinosaurus would win because it is fast enough to dodge the stegosaurus’ tail and still land a blow on it.

My second and third favourite animals are the lynx and the shark just because the lynx was the first animal I have ever properly learned about and I have always loved cats. The shark because of the sheer terror you would get from seeing one. To be specific, the hammerhead shark is my favourite because its you would be able to swim with a pod of them unless you hit one with your leg, then it will attack by swinging its head at you, which will break all your ribs.

My questions are as follows:
1)What is your favourite animal/dinosaur?

2) How you react if you found yourself face to face with an angry shark ?

3) If we were able to bring dinosaurs back, what would you do with them? Would you befriend them or not? Give a reason why.

4) What animal would you most want to be that is not your favourite animal? What would you do as your animal?

My Dog Spyryt

I have a dog, her name is Spyryt.  We got her from a breeder far in the countryside that is not close to Edmonton but I forget where it is closest to.

Spyryt is a Finnish Lapphund that was originally bred for reindeer herding.  she will grow to be a big dog about u past my waist, and will have lots and lots of fur.

Spyryt is black with tan splotches that look more like stripes.  She also has black pointy ears with tan tips.  Spyryt has brown eyes and a lighter black tail with a midnight black tip.

I came up with Spyryts name  from a movie I used to watch about a horse.  Spyryt’s name was spelt like this to be different and because one of the breeders malamute's had the name spirit spelt like it normally is so yeah.

Spyryts favourite activities include barking in the back yard, rolling in snow, playing outside, playing treat games, playing with my other dog meeka, and cuddling in the living room.  She also likes eating bones, going for walks, playing in the backyard with me, jumping on a mini picnic bench in my backyard, and begging to be pet.

Spyryt has done a lot of funny things in her three or four months but I will name three things that I remember the most when she fell out of her doggy bed which was on the ground, when I scratched her belly and she had a spazz attack, and lastly when we put her collar on for the first time and she just kept shaking her head trying to get it off.

Now I want to ask you a couple questions. Do you have a pet? What funny things has it done? What its name? What type of pet? Where did you get it? What is its favourite activity?

Books

I hate reading but I love it also.  Sometimes when I read only a couple pages I know I’m not going to like it, and sometimes I’m so into a book I never want to stop reading.  I usually only read at home when I’m not supposed to, like at dinner, breakfast and bedtime.  My mom has tried to get me to read books that my older siblings have read and loved.  The book that my mom has bothered me the most about is Gregor The Overlander.  My mom also said I should read Harry Potter but I don’t think I’m interested in it.

My favourite books so far are the Spiderwick Chronicles and the Uglies.  Both my older siblings have read Spiderwick and loved it.  If you haven’t read Spiderwick you should - it’s a really good book.  I’m reading Uglies right now but I’m almost finished and it’s really good. My mom told me to try it. The book I think I want to read next is Inkheart; my Mom said it was good and I've seen the movie, so why not try it out? The other book I think I should try out is Warriors.  It’s about cats that are warriors. My brother read the whole series. I once tried to read Sisters Grimm. I made it to the third book and gave up, but luckily my best friend next door loves them and I think she’s on the 6th book and we have all twelve.

I like a lot of types of books like fantasy, drama, comedy and mystery.  I think the type of book I like the most is fantasy.  I actually am really enjoying Legend, the book that we are reading in class.  I also really like comedies. I don’t really like reading chapter books but I love graphic novels like Archie and Bone and Ghostopolis.  I read Beautiful Creatures as a graphic novel and I want to read the real book but I’m pretty sure I’m not allowed to read it yet.  I also read the first book of Twilight as a graphic novel and I didn't like it but that’s only my opinion.

My Questions:

  1. What are your favourite book?
  2. What books would you like to read in the future or this year?
  3. How much do you like to read?
