Why homework is boring
I think homework is boring because teachers give way to much.
we work hard all day and yet at the end of the day we get homework.
most of the homework is math and social with are the most boring subjects.
why do we bother doing homework if we learn all the thing we do for homework the next day. I don't get it the teachers give us homework then the next day they give us the answers.

Giving us home work is part of the school system. Homework is meant to teach us responsibility with the factor of taking it home. Homework is also meant to test our knowledge and make sure that the things we learn are getting to our head. If they gave us no homework our minds wouldn't be tested and school would be to easy. I also agree with I also agree with Pink sheep that it's mostly work we didn't do in class . They also give us mostly math because math is used in mostly everything. It's also mostly social and math because there the only two that challenge and annoy the student.

I have no idea why the blogger says that the teacher gives way to much. I think that he doesn't give ENOUGH homework for us to do, especially in math because we use that everywhere and all the time the large, wide world that we live in today. It is also getting really annoying when he give homework to people, and then everyone is all mad with him, when in reality, he could give us a lot more than what he does. What is also very annoying when it comes to homework is when he assigns it, and then the next day NOBODY DOES IT ANYWAY.
ReplyDeleteWhen it comes to homework and how much he assigns, there is normally me and another person who are always done it and no one else. I say that he needs to give WAY more to really make some people angry and make them do the same amount that the teacher had to do when he was in our grades. Then they might be quiet because they realise that they aren't doing near as much as they should be doing, or would be doing if he did the same.
And when it comes to people getting it done, all it does is just make whoever is done bored because they have to wait for everyone else to finish there work. Here are my responses to the questions you asked:

You really don't understand what a lot of homework is do you,a lot of homework is you have so much that you have to be up till 1:00 am in the morning finishing it.I think homework is needed for review and further understanding of the subject.I think we need more homework.

I think that that he should give us a little more for the end of the year pat al the homework will help cause homework is basically studying so it will review the lesson told in that subject it is more memory of it so we all need it so the more we get the better we will do and as in social class it will stay in memory so that when your kid wants to know how a kit fly's as example that cause of that homework it is more likely to stay in your brain so when Timothy says how does that kite fly then you can say there is lift on kites which is the result of when the air goes over top of the wing then it changes the direction of the air so the moving air fly's out downward then the change of momentum make the kite soar up and then it keeps on flying that is what a kid will hopefully understand so school homework in the long run is helpful and will provide stuff to talk about

ReplyDeleteI agree because yes sometimes you have so much homework that you think there just being rude or something. And yes Social and Math may be boring, but they are everyday things that you will need in the future.
Math You will need in your life because, when working or something you will need it for calculations or something. However, it can be extremely boring to do.
But with social, you may hate it, others may hate it, I hate it, but having that extra stuff in your life will help you exceed in life.
So think, is it really that bad?
Now about the questions. You asked if I think teachers should give us so much homework?
My answer is,YES. Yes they should give us lots of homework, cause like i said above it is preparing us for our future.
And my answer to question two is, because they are wanting us to exceed in life by doing these types of things.
For example. Commenting on this blogpost was for homework. Anyways, my point is it does not matter how much homework we are given, it matters on what we do with it. If we exceed in life by actually doing our homework, or if we don't quite reach what we wanted in life by not doing your homework.

homework is good because if we don't have homework kids will get lazy and get attracted to video games and then they will never gt it done not that we don't do it anyway so if we get homework we will have to do it so they will get off.

I don't think that teachers should not stop giving us homework, why because having a homework is part of our lives and where, at least for me, are used to having a bunch of homework piled up into my desk. Maybe some teachers give too much homework for certain kids and such, but they do it to make you do work if you're not doing what you're asked to do inside the school or to get you set next year. They just do homework so you try harder at school. If we don't have any homework, you can be obssesed in video games and not trying to work at school.

Also we could just do the work in class so we can not have homework. We have work every day and we work hard on it and at the end of the day teachers give us more work, but to do it at home.The next day if we dont finish the work, the teacher yells at us our hives us more homework
ReplyDeleteI agree with you, social and math are more boring than watching a monkey swing from a tree. Math we need. Social... Its somewhat important so that we dont repeat history... like WWII. Its also important for voting when you grow up. Other than that its pretty much useless. I do get why teachers assign homework. Obviously they realize that we need to practice more, of course we only have half an hour to an hour to actually learn things in each subject. This is why they give homework in my opinion.

Okay, first things first. The flipping post was for homework, as well as the comment, So stop complaining that there is only social and math homework! And we do get science homework, too, but its just not as often! If you have a problem with that, then talk to the teacher! Tell him to give us less homework, to let us have more free time after school! Or how about this? Get your work done during class and you typically won't have any homework! Its that simple! Either deal with it, finish your work, or do something about it!

I think that homework can be fun if you make it fun. I make my homework fun by playing games to get the answers. I don't think that our teacher gives us too much homework, I think they give just the right amount. My old teacher gave us way too much homework, thats why i was surprised of how much homework our teacher gives now. Teachers give out homework because, that way at home were not always playing video games or just playing we need more work to do at home so our brains don't rot. They also give it because we don't have much time in class to do it.

I found it a little hard to understand what you saying. But in the end I understood the questions. And heres what I have to say. I like having homework, just a little though to get me through the night. However I think that Teachers give us homework to practice what we a learning. Math esecicaly, cause you need it all your life.

ReplyDeleteFirst of all, homework is usually assigned because YOU didn't get it done. Blaming the teachers is a wrong accusation.
Second of all, this is just elementary school, they don't "give out" homework. In high school, you have the work you didn't get done and the homework they give out!
I agree that homework isn't my most liked thing to do on the weekend. On any day for that matter, but all the homework we get now and through junior high is our fault.

Math and social homework may be boring but homework will help you in future. Also homework is given,because YOU DON'T GET IT DONE AT SCHOOL and No one gets it done the next day anyways. By doing homework you earn your teachers trusts. That is why your teachers give you homework.

ReplyDeleteYes. Give us homework because it benefits us and teaches us or me a new thing or it helps us or me practice for whatever is up tomorrow. It prepares us or me. Or it`s the work that you didn`t finish at school. ;)

I think that if we didn't have homework, we would have longer classes in a day, and we would be a little bit behind. My reason for saying this is that sometimes we can't squeeze all of our lesson for a day into a lesson and so we get the leftover things to learn as homework. Also, when we do homework at home,we are problem solving by ourselves so we can learn to be independant and can learn to do our schoolwork without needing a teacher to watch us. I think that homework is extremely important because it helps us advance in whatever subject it is on topic with, and it makes less work for the teachers. I will be the first one to say that I don't enjoy homework but, I understand why we have iit and I know that it is important to get it done.
