Places to go Things to see
Have you ever wondered about the things you want to do or see in life.
I know I have, my dream start out small and then big.The first place I have gone that I can remember is British Columbia. My Mom and I stayed at a friend's house for just under one week, then we were camping the rest of the time, we were in British Columbia for two weeks. When we were there we did so much exciting stuff like, we bike almost every day. The most impressive thing me and my mom did is hiking and walking. I know that hiking and walking is not that impressive, hiking and walking 94 km in two weeks is! The most relaxing thing we did when we were camping is after a long day, we sat by the fire eating smores. When it was time to go, mom and I did not want to leave but we had to.
When we got back to the house, my mom woke me up,because I was asleep for the whole car ride home. When I got inside the house my mom went to bed and I went to my room to decide the next place I wanted to go, and it was Portugal.
As you can see, I have not travelled much. If you have I want you to tell me where you went, when and did you like the trip.

My first time going out of town was when I went to Winnipeg at age 5. I visited my Grandma and did a lot of other things. At age 6 I went to Disney land California, first time out of the country. That was probably my best trip to the states and my 2nd best over all. When we went when I was ten, we stopped in Montana for the night and went to famous Dave's. Very good rib place. they only had them in the states until they opened one in Winnipeg. When I was at the Winnipeg one I had drunken apples. When I told my mom about It she freaked( she wasn't on the trip) until I told her what they did to them.
ReplyDeleteMy most recent trip to the Philippines was my first time over seas and my best trip. I went to national parks, visited relatives, got tricked into dancing gagman style in front of a village and other stuff. It was a awesome trip.

The first time that I had gone out of the city was when I was very small, so small that I don't even remember what had happened! That was my first and last time that I had gone to Alberta Beach and to our cabin up there. I don't remember much, so I can't tell you what it looked like, or what I did there. All I know is that that was the first of many, many trips that I have gone on.
ReplyDeleteHere is a list of the trips that I can remember:
Kindergarten: The very first time that I had gone to our farm that we now visit very frequently.
Grade 1: First trip to Oahu, Hawaii, and the best one.
Grade 2: Just Hawaii again.
Grade 3: Went to Hawaii, again.
Grade 4: This year we went to Disneyland, and were supposed to go this year, but that was canceled. Also the first year that we went to Penticton, BC!
Grade 5: The very first year that I went on a big, week long hunting trip camping with that, so, no, we did not stay in a hotel.
Grade 6: Went on a hunting trip again.
During every year, we went to our farm more than 5 times.

I went to Las Vagas last summer. To be honest, I did not enjoy my stay there for 3 days.Well I did like the buildings and art...but the heat there was in SANE.I felt like I was in a oven full blast. And there's really nothan to do in Las Vagas,if you were a kid.Because all I see in casino, casino, casino.Like why can't there be a building for kids?Oh well.
ReplyDeleteI'm curious what might the bill be of the electric power?Hmmm, they must be rich.~Scoozie~

ReplyDeleteme and my grandpa were out taking a walk. Of course that always meant he was buying me ice cream. I'm not exactly sure what I got that Christmas, but I remember I liked it...
Where I want to go? I've always wanted to go to Greece. My reason being is because I really enjoy their culture, and the way they worship their gods. I want to see temples and other interesting architecture that they have there. I'm also going to Italy in three years. That'll be fun.

I have traveled to British Columbia a couple of times. Everytime I go I stay at my grandmas and grandpas. The last two times I went to British Columbia, I stayed in Oliver.
ReplyDeleteI want to visit somewhere out of Canada. However, I do not have a passport. Therefore I can not cross the international border. However, If I did have a passport, I think the first place I would go is, Hawaii.
Although, right now I am quite content in the home I am living in. Some people who are really rich seem to think that because they have money they need to travel around the world. But seriously, Do we need to Be always travelling. I think that where I am now is fine.
Of course when I am older, I wanna live near water, so that I get a nice ocean wide view.

LONG DAY SMORES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI have not been to too many places but I have been outside of Canada.
I was in grade two and we were going to Disneyland! Its actually a funny story. We were supposed to go to British Columbia for our yearly trip to see family and friends. My brother and I came home from school and were told to go to my parent's bedroom. When we got there, my dad had been waiting and my mom joined him. We got told that our family would not be going on our usual trip. I was crying hysterically and my brother was mad. As my mom was holding me and my brother was fighting with my dad, a sudden burst of joy came to the room when we found out we were going to Disneyland! I immediately stopped crying and said with glee "we can go to BC anytime!" My parents laughed and my brother screamed, the Disneyland experience was the best one ever!

Like the last blog I read this was a little hard to understand. However, I have never been outside of Alberta. Because I'm not allowed out of Alberta. Thanks to my parents devoris- Which has been going on for 5 years- I'm stuck here until I'm 18! Anyway I have been to Thunderlake (we have a cabin out there) and I get to go out there every weekend.

I go to Jasper to camp every year in August. We would first eat at a restaurant and then find our campsite and set our tent. Then we would sit read a book and I would go play with a ball by myself because my brother is constantly checking his Facebook or texting hi girlfriend. But still, itÅ› fun. We would then eat and then for the rest of the day we would play card games such as Blackjack or Big Two or Uno. We would set a tournament and the next day we would count the scores and get money according to the scores. 20 then 15 then 10 then 5. My mom would surprisingly come in first. :p I would come in second then my Brother then my Dad. Poor Dad. Then we would eat and head back.
ReplyDeleteWhen I grow up, I want to go to Spain by myself. ><

First things first, there is an incredible amount of grammatical and punctuation mistakes in this post. That fact makes me angry.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I have been to Maui, and we stayed at Kihei, in a hotel, really close to the beach. It was incredible! We went boogie boarding almost every day, we went to the aquarium, (where I personally really wanted to go swimming with the sharks, or the dolphins, I can't remember which.) and we went on a cruise.
On the whale-watching cruise, I ate at least four mini racks of ribs, but I could've eaten more if my parents let me... I hid up near the Captain's Cabin thing for most of the cruise, because it was really, really windy out on the water. I think the captain was getting really annoyed with me, because I kept asking him questions.
I met this boy named William at Maui, and I hung out with him at the pool and occasionally at the beach. It was nice to have a friend there, but he had to leave after about a week.
We got to stay here for two weeks, and I missed a week of school! It was the last week of Christmas Vacation, and the first week back after that. It took me a bit to catch up in school, but I did, which is good.

Anyway, we (my family and I) have decided we’re going to Maui again this year. I think we’re going around the same time, but I'm not sure on all those details yet.

How did I get here?
I was born in Philippines and came to Canada 2 years ago so I guess that is a trip. I haven't really traveled much on Canada, but I think we are going to my moms friends house. I am not sure when or were, but my mom told me that it would be a 9 hour drive. My family had been to Calgary once, we got to go on the tall tower(not really sure what it's called), and visit my moms cousins house there. Overall, it was a fun trip. Were I really want to go to is Hawaii and south Korea.

I haven't traveled very much but, when I was about one year old, My Mom, My Aunt, My Uncle, My Grandparents, and I went to Halifax. I got sick on the plane ride there and I threw up. Then my Gramdma told my Mom that if I had a banana that I would feel better...I threw that up too.
ReplyDeleteMy Mom collected a lot of shells off the beach and she said that she even took a snail out of it's shell becasue the shell was soo pretty. (Funy Story: My cousin gave my Mom a lecture becasue you aren't supposed to do that because it takes them so long to find th eright shell and she had had some that couldn't find the right shell so they died!!(:) She is looking for a tiny drill so she can make neclaces for me out of them.
Even though I have never been, my dream place to go is Disney World! I have been saving up (and spending) my money since I was about 4, and I am hoping to go sometime next year. Like I said, that is my hope and may not be what will actually happen! But a girl can dream, can't she?
Sorry, I meant funny story
