Why weekends should be longer!
I believe that weekends should be longer because than you have more time to do homework and to hang out with friends and do things with your family. Almost everyone I know believes that weekends should be longer. If we could convince the government to make another day for the weekend we could. Can we make weekends longer do you know? What do you like about weekends?
This weekend I am going to the eye doctor to see if I need glasses. Also I will have a sleepover with one of my friends. One more thing I will do is Cheer. If the weekend were longer I might be able to goin riding classes with my best friend (horseback riding). If you like weekends please say so and if you want to have weekends be longer say so.
Now I have some questions for everyone.:
1. Do you wish there could be a new wonderful day for the weekend?
2. Do you love weekends?
3. What are you doing this weekend?
If I could make the weekend longer it would be a three day weekend so that we went to school on a Tuesday. I would also give Monday a new name. The name would be Sumday. I love weekends they give me a couple days so I can take a break from homework and pay pokemon. I also love weekends because I can hang out with my dogs and stay up really late.

That would be cool for the weekends to have another day but then if we did we would get used to sleeping in.I would like to sleep in but If I do it on a school day I wouldn't get perfect attendance like I did 2 years ago when I got perfect The principal made me stand up at a assembly it was pretty cool.I would also like weekends because I'm a gamer who plays Call Of Duty games and I would like another day to play it.I also got a new game recently that I really want to finish the campaign on but I have to do my homework. I usually have soccer so I usually only have a couple hours to play it.

I love go carting but when My brother comes he destroys me.I usually go to my grandma's on the weekend but all we do there is rent movies on Shaw and order Mary Browns chicken.

I think that weekends should be longer because then you have more time to be with your family and hang out with your friends. I think that there should be a 4 day weekend,that means that you have more time to have fun. I do dance so I don't know if that would mean that I would have to do dance those set days.
ReplyDeleteWhat I am doing this weekend is I am going to dance and that is usually my whole weekend. I like dance so it is fun. I may also go to my cousins house and play football with them. They are a lot taller than I am,so it usually doesn't end well, which means that I usually get hurt in the first ten seconds. Sometimes I get one cousin on my team and I sometimes win. I love weekends.

Yes I do think there should be a new weekday. I think it should be monday because you know how it goes monday is the worst day of the week. I want monday to be another weekday mostly for me because monday is the day I would get in trouble by my teacher.
ReplyDeleteI like the weekend but I don't love them. There is a few reasons why I don't want to get engaged to weekends. 1:Because I spending to much time with my brother 2:I spend To much time with my mommy saying "MOOOOOOM IM HUNGRY" and wonderful 3:Not as much school as I would wan't.

I think weekends should be longer,because you have more time to do things you need to get finished, such as homework or studying for a test. I also think it would be a good idea because I would have more time to do more activities like swimming or other fun things.For me I would not want longer weekends,because if I don't have anything to do that would just mean one more day of being bored. If had something that I could do that weekend that would be fine for me.

Yes I do think that weekends should be longer. The thing that I don't like about having another day would be that I would make it on Monday. I would make it on Monday then I would hate Tuesday even more than I already do.The thing that I love about the week and look foreword to is the weekend. So yeah, I love weekends a lot.On the weekends, I don't really do that much. Sometimes I go to my grandma's for I sleepover and when I sleepover there most of the time my brother does not sleepover. Besides that I don't do much on the weekends.We sometimes go swimming but that's all. Thats all I really do on the weekends.This weekend I am not doing anything.

I also want longer weekends so I can have more fun doing whatever I want to do. There would be so much to do (but there would still be homework). The weekend is my favourite time of the week. The things I do on the weekend are 1: Play Grand Theft Auto 5 2: Play with my dogs, Spyryt and Meeka and finally... watch TV. OH MAN, I almost forgot... eat. Also I watch videos on my Ipad of turtles eating raspberries. Well,That sums up what I do on my weekends. So please MAKE WEEKENDS LONGER!!!!!!!!!!

I do wish there was a new day for the weekend. If there was another day I could do more things like join more classes and hang out with my friends more. If there there was another day I would not have to rush on my home work. The only down side is my mom and dad would say I would have to do more work with all the time I had.
ReplyDeleteI love weekends and I also hate them. The reason I hate weekends is because on Sunday you always know Monday is right around the corner. I also hate them because I always have to clean my room which I hate. The reason I love weekends is because there's no school. The other reason I love them is because I can sleep in.
This weekend I'm going to three dance classes and it takes up half my day. Usually on weekends, I go over to one of my best friends house. The thing I'm going to do the most of this weekend is watch t.v .

I really do wish there was another weekend. It should be called Mondenstay. A mix of Monday Wednesday and Saturday. That would be so awesome. I would just go biking or jump on my trampoline or something. Weekends are awesome because they are the only days that I can do whatever I want, whenever I want.
ReplyDeleteI do not know what to do this weekend. Probably go to one of my friends house or just watch a movie. Weekends should be so much longer. I mean why can they make It eight days of the week with the additional Mondenstay.
I don't know why but weekends are really fun. Well actually that is obvious that there fun unless you are going to a place like Calgary because I have to go there lots on the weekend

I completely agree with you. I think if we could add another day to the weekend Everyone would have a lot more fun. My only question is what would you name it. OK back on topic if there was one more day on the weekend, I would spend it sleeping. The only reason I would spend the third day sleeping is because I would be out of Ideas. Maybe I could ride my bike around the entire school to practice for RAC or maybe even read all day long or I could write a book.
ReplyDeleteI like weekends but I hate when my little cousins come over, they are such a nuisance, but they aren't all bad. They do get quite a bit quiet until they go to bed and snore. Normally I sleep until five in the morning. But I guess I slept until noon once. I really like weekends.
I am going to go to Tofield to see my mother and father. I will also go to the Halloween store with my father and buy a costume. I really like my fathers house in Tofield. I also love my family in New Brunswick.

Yes I think weekends should be longer because we would have more days added to spend more time with each other. I would love for more days because I love hanging out with my friends and family they always make that weekend so fun because we go swimming boating with them and we go hunting. I love hanging out with my dad. I am going hunting, swimming, eating and sleeping. The worst day of the week is Monday they are always so gloomy and depressing and boring. The best day of all is Friday because it goes into the weekend.

Yes, I'll admit it, I Probably love weekends just as much as everyone else, except on occasion, but I'll get to that.I have a few reasons that I wish the weekend was longer, like my friend,having more time to do my homework, not being so busy that it seems like there was no weekend , having more time to hang out with my friends and doing activities of my choice. But to honest , sometimes I wish weekends were shorter since sometimes I get sick and tired of being with my grandmother all weekend! When I am with my mother on the weekends, I really do want the weekends to be longer !
ReplyDeleteIf I could convince the government to make the weekend longer , I would make it be on Friday not on a Monday because the first day of the school week is always the worst day of the school week and Tuesday would still be the first day of the school week! Technically every day of the week except Monday is the weekend, but it depends on how you look at it! Maybe, if I could convince the government to make the school weekends longer, I could ask them to make the weekends longer only every second week.
On most of the weekends, I am a pretty busy person. Most times I am with my grandparents on the weekend because my mother is working. This weekend I am most likely having a sleepover with Madison and going to church with my best friend Justus and her family. I have a regular weekend schedule.Part of my weekend schedule is going to my swimming lessons and baking cookies for the next school week.I can't wait for this weekend because my sleepover with Madison.

If we get another day too, we wake up in the morning on Monday and not say UGH it is Monday, we will say this is awesome! Weekends are the reason why we are happy on Fridays is because it is almost the weekend .We could wake up and be happy for Monday.I am not doing anything this weekend, because I'm lazy
Sometimes my family go to West Edmonton Mall on the weekends. A couple weeks ago we went to a japanese restaurant for my grandmas birthday. When i went there i eat this really good steak. Weekends are like the ice cream on a sun day and the meat on a plate.

Most people like weekends,I mean I do to it is just that I would still prefer the two day weekend, because in grade 5-6 we should be able to manage are time more wisely. So the need more time doing homework dose not madder to me most of the time.I don't want a 3 day weekend, that way I don't get hooked on the sleeping in thing,that is why I don't want a long weekends. Another fact if longer free days begin, so dose longer homework sheets! Here is a fun thing about longer weekends, their is more time to play with your friends.
ReplyDeleteIn you comment you mentioned horseback ridding, I have never done that sport before.The sports I have done are,well only 1 sport that is soccer, I am going to try volleyball on December 1,because that is when tryouts are.
You also talked about the eye doctor,what is it like because I have never been talk to about glasses in my life. It is crazy also because my mom were's glasses.I know right mind blown BOOM! All I know is that my mom has had them since she was a little girl.

If there was another "wonderful" day for the weekend there would be more homework and a possibility even less time for hanging out etc. Also, what would the new day be called Stoodupday or Moonday. I also believe that you would have to go through a lot political stuff just to get your idea through so overall it would be huge pain in the butt.I enjoy hanging out with my friends over the weekends.Of course I love the weekends are you kidding. I have no idea whatsoever what I am doing over the weekend. I have a question are you excited for getting glasses? How is horse riding? What does your horse look like? What colour is it? How old is it? when I see the horse races it looks fun. Have fun with your new glasses ...one of us! one of us!one of us!

During the weekends I like to play video games, play outside, play with my dogs, eat pie, text marshmellowbunnylover, and read. I love weekends because I secretly stay up till 1:00 in the morning. If I could I would make the weekend three days and here are some names: sumday, Cookiesday, Dogday, Fluffday, and eatsday. If I could make the weekend longer I would make it so there was one day of school watch week. I would love to do that but the world does not work like that.

I would love to make new names for the week because it would be cool. Here are some ideas: funday, seeday, caday, sneezday, cuoday, cirday, burday, kiday, vevday, and last but not least jaeday,. I would also make a new name for weekend it would be schoolbreakfuntwoday. I also like cake.

I wish there was an extra day of the weekend although school is important for education but who doesn't what a extra day of the weekend. If I could pick the extra day of the weekend it would be Monday. I don't know why I would pick Monday I don't like Friday as a weekend I guess. done with question 1 now question number 2 do you love weekends. Yes, I wish there was another weekend. I would play on my iPad2 I would play football with my brother and sister. I would go to the skate park, go biking and go to my friends house. I would have more time to do my homework play with lego. I could read and watch tv.
