I like sports, whether it’s hockey or rock climbing. I also like to play sports. I’d say that my favourite sport I used to played was hockey. There are lots of sports that people like to watch or play.
- Hockey
- Soccer
- Football
- Baseball
- Skiing or Snowboarding
- etc...
Although I am not a pro skier I still like it as a sport. I also like rock climbing. It’s not really a sport, but I guess I would consider it to be one.
Now I also have some favourite teams in the NHL, CFL, WHL and the NFL. My favourite team in the NHL is sadly the Oilers, but it’s probably because I liked them since I was 5. My favourite CFL team is the Eskimos. In the WHL, I prefer the Oil Kings (they are probably better than the Oilers). I haven’t liked my favourite NFL team the Seahawks since I was 5, but I started only 1-2 years ago.
I also have some favourite athletes. The only team I have a favourite for is the Oilers. I have 2 players I like on that team and they are Ryan Smith and Jordan Eberle.
In almost every sport there is some kind of championship game or award . That could be the Stanley Cup for NHL Hockey, the Grey Cup for the Canadian Football League, the World Cup for international soccer and the Super Bowl for the National Football League.
Some professional sports leagues are much older than others. The Grey Cup just passed its 102 year, while the Super Bowl’s 49th year is coming very soon. The NHL is now in its 122nd season and that makes it the oldest league in North America, besides professional baseball.
The one thing I don’t like about going to an Oilers game is that is costs WAY too much money. Say in a city like Phoenix, they would cost half as much as they do here and their quite a bit better than us. Currently they are 16th we are 29/30 *cough cough* The Oilers are horrible.

I love spots there so fun, I enjoy every one especially soccer and football,I don't like football as much as I like soccer though.My favorite sport to play is Soccer I'm so good at it I'm way better at it than football I have scored at least 18 goals in the season i'm in now.I also like playing soccer because a couple teams want me to pay with them including someones team in the class.I'm also excited today because after school I get to play with the cities team.

My favorite player on Barcelona is Lionel Messi because hes the best at soccer in the world My second favorite player that ever lived is Diego Mara Dona he's the athlete I was named after.My least favorite player is Cristiana Ronaldo becuase if he gets pushed down he gets hurt easily if someone kicks him in the leg or trips him he will get hurt easily.

I only play Soccer. I am the teams goalie. I used to be a forward but I switched because I wanted to try new things. Being a goalie is pretty fun, and easy because there is not that much you have to do other then keep the ball from getting in the net.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite sport is hockey, which used to play. I don't anymore because I wanted to try new stuff so about three years ago I started playing soccer. I like the NHL, my favourite team is the Pittsburgh Penguins. For CFL I like the the Edmonton Eskimos (pretty simple).
I used to play Base Ball, and It was the worst sport I ever played. I found it unspeakably boring. I thought it was boring because all you do is hit a Base ball and then run around.
That's all the sports I do, well I don't know if snowboarding is a sport but I do that. My dad showed me how to do the rails and stuff, so I guess its kind of a sport, I also ski and swim but I Haven't skied in four years, and haven't gone to swimming lessons in about three months.
That's basic all I do for sports, not that much but enough for me anyway.
For my favourite sports player, I don't really know any players. I don't know why but I have never really payed attention to the players ( but I know some of the NHL players)

I like sports, they're fun. My favourite sport is swimming and that is the only sport I play. I don't know if swimming is a sport are not, but I'm going to say it is. I don't play it as a sport I just swim when I go. I have always loved swimming it is so fun. My favourite place to swim is West Ed water park but we don't go there a lot, we usually go to the by my house but I forgot the name. The reason I like West Ed water park is the huge pool and the different water slides. The one by my house has a water slide, a hot tub also a lap swimming area then there is a huge swimming pool with a deep end.
ReplyDeleteI don't ever watch sports teams play because I never got into it. The only time I ever watched a sport game was when I was in grade 3 and it was hockey. I had liked it but I don't watch hockey at home. I don't have a favourite sport player because I don't watch sports.

I don't really like sports that much and i don't really like watching them but my family does, when i go to my uncles house he is on his computer or watching sports. I don't pay attention to sport, but if i would pick maybe Wayne Gretzky or Sidney Crosby. I tried to play hockey for a bit but i really could not get into it so that is the only sport that i enjoyed. My favorite team is the Oilers like u because the from Edmonton and they used to not be horrible. I have been to a couple sport games, I have been to the Oilers game a couple of times and Oil kings like once. I played football with my friends but i wasn't very good so i stopped and I didn't like to sport that much anyway. I have some equipment for sports at home somewhere, like i have a baseball glove somewhere and I have a hockey stick somewhere too. I used to collect hockey cards for I don't know what reason but they disappeared somewhere. At our school we had people that came to use and played lacrosse with us for a couple of days

I like to play sports, but my favourite sport is floor hockey, because it is the only sport that I am good at being goalie. My 2nd favourite sport is soccer, because it is pretty much the only sport that I can get my anger out by kicking the ball as hard as I can. I also like football, because it has 2 types, ruff or non ruff which means tackle or non tackle. In tackle football, you are aloud to tackle the other players to try and receive the ball. In non tackle football, the players wear a belt of flags, so the players do not have to tackle each other. Instead of

My favourite sports team is the Pittsburgh Penguins, because they get a really good player named Sidney Crosby. The reason that I like Sidney Crosby is that he gets lots of goals and he makes a really good forward. I don't really know a lot of hockey players, because I don't really watch hockey that much.
I like rock climbing also but I wouldn't consider it a sport no offense but I wouldn't. Now um about your two favorite players on the Oilers what about Taylor Hall?? Do you like him or not? There is only one sport I like to watch that is Hockey. The sports I like to play are Football, Tennis, and Basketball.

I think that I am pretty fast for a girl but there are many girls that are faster than me. I really like sprinting short distances it is one of the types of running I'm much better at. One other sport I really enjoy doing is swimming once I entered a swimming competition and there were 30 girls and I came in like 22nd maybe it was a while ago so yeah I don't really remember. I know some athletes from speed skating they are: Christine Nesbitt, Kali Christ, and Shannon Rempel.

To answer your first question, I kind of like sports, but then again, it also depends on which sport we're talking about. I mean I won't really like to play the sports that I'm not interested in. Some of the different sports I like to play are:

As for my favourite actual sport to play, I can say that I really like baseball for during the summer sport and swimming for a year round sport. The other version of baseball like to play is kick ball. Even though I am in swimming lessons, I do still like to free swim on the weekends.
As forma favourite sport team, I don't really have one. I mean I know lots of sport teams but I just really don't have one. I think one reason for this is that I am not interested in watching sports on the t.v so I never do and then I can't adopt to a certain team.
As for my favourite player, I don't really have one of those either . Just as I am not interested in sports as say maybe Diego, I am not really interested in the players unless I like them from somewhere else. But I do know Sidney Crosby, just to let my teacher know. So all in all, I guess I like sports but not so,so much.

ReplyDeleteMy favourite sport to watch is hockey or football, depends on how is playing. My favourite sport to play is Soccer no thought about it, a lot of people say I would be good at baseball, but I say that it does not look fun to me and that is what matters when you play sports, as long as you have fun, it is all good.
Hockey does look fun to play, the only thing is that I don't no how to skate, and it very hard for me to learn how. So I think that joining a floor hockey team would be very fun for me, 1 more thing looks interesting to me and that is volley ball, so I might be going to some try outs in March and I am super existed.
I do play sports as you see and I would all ways love to be trying something new.
My favourite sport team is Fc Edmonton for soccer and the Seahawks for football.

Yes I love sports I wish they haven't made so many fattening things that's the worlds biggest problem to many people are inside playing those video games. My favourite sport to play is hockey and football I am not that good at skating but hay a few bumps and bruises it is not that bad. Oil kings and Coyotes my favourite football team is Edmonton Eskimos well to be true they SUCK!!!!!! my favourite players are Roberto loungo
ReplyDeleteI like sports I just don't pay attention to them very much like i'll watch out for the Olympics but that's pretty much it. I don't understand why rock climbing is not a sport it should be.I understand why it is not a sports because its dangerous but say something like snowboarding or skiing is just as dangerous.

my favorite sports team is from where I used to live the Victoria royals there my favorite I don't have a favorite player on the team but I like them. my favorite team in the NHL although I don't really like them the Vancouver canucks.I don't really have a favorite player in sports mostly cause I don't know there names at all.

Nice blog,I like sports too.I really like hockey and I play hockey too,people do not believe me that I play hockey.My team really SUCK because they do not score a lot of goals and because they always what for the other team to score and that is how we lose the game,we so far only won 1 game.

I don't know anything about sports so I have a small span on sports. The only reason I am posting this is because not every body knows about sports. Specific answers like I like sports don't even work with me just because I don't. If you asked me to write a book about sports I would say know and walk away. I honestly don't like any sport except swimming if you even count swimming as a sport.

I like sports,I do them every day. I like them because they make you active. My favourite sport to do is dance. I do 11.5 hours of dance a week. I do a lot of types of dance such as,Jazz,Ballet,Lyrical,Hip hop. There is one bad part the teachers are not very nice,they mostly yell at you and make you feel bad.
ReplyDeleteI don't watch a lot of sports but I do know the Edmonton Oilers. Even if they loose almost every game that I know of they are still the only team I know so they are still my favourite team.
My favourite player is Wayne Gretzky. Even though he does not play on a team any more. He is the only player I know of so that is why he is my favourite. He is also talked about because my dad use to live net door to his girlfriend when he was a little kid. So he would see him a lot. My dad didn't find it interesting because he was not that much of a hockey fan. But it is still one of my dads best memories. Now I think that my dad is more of a hockey fan now.

Yes, I do like sports. Sports are always fun and active, I have lots of favourite sports, my favourite sports are snowboarding, skateboarding, football, soccer, hockey and basketball.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite sport to play is basketball because, it's easy to play and fun. I like playing basketball because I like jumping, moving around and using some different techniques with my arm. I just thinks it's good for me to play basketball so I stay active.
My favourite sports team is the Edmonton Oilers and the Edmonton Eskimos. There not always winning game but most of the time they win *cough cough* not always. Besides they represent are city because they're the Edmonton team. But there pretty much good, I also have other teams that I like but I can't remember their team names.
My favourite sport athlete is Sidney Crosby, and I can't remember the name of the football player, but it doesn't really matter that much.

ReplyDeleteMy FAVOURITE sport is either soccer or,...well..., thats it. I love soccer SO much because I’ve been playing soccer since I was 4 and I’ve been watching soccer since I was 5. I played forward since I started playing soccer, but since I was 7, I’ve been playing defence (d.). I’d say I’m the best D on my team (but if you ask someone thats honest, they’d say I’m about second) - LIKE THAT MATTERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My favourite sports team is either ATOMIC (my soccer team, who has won one gold city championship-in our division and two silver ones) or arsenal (barclays premier league)
