Bennett Center
So the last week of September we went to the Bennett Center. When we got there we were assigned rooms. I was surprised to see who was in my room. The reason I liked the Bennett Center because we got to sleep over. The first day at the Bennett Center we went and looked at trees around the Bennett Center. After that we went and had lunch. For lunch we had spaghetti. After that we went outside to the forest. My group found a gigantic earthworm. That afternoon we had snack. After that we went outside. After awhile we came inside for supper. I don’t know about you but I was exhausted after that day. For supper we had chicken, veggies and potatoes with gravy. After that we played some games. Then we went to the park. I rolled down the hill. Bad choice that was, I felt as if i was going to puke. when we came back, we sat around the firepit and we roasted some marshmallows. When everyone was done roasting marshmallows we went back inside and played games and some watched a movie about trees. After that the teachers told us it’s time for bed. So we all went to bed. I did not sleep well, someone would be making noise at like 3 in the morning. I think that that person knows who they are. That morning we had cereal for breakfast. After that we went to our rooms for a bit. Then we went back out to the forest. Day 2 we went and explored the forest even more. Then we had lunch. For lunch we had mini pizzas. I had 2 mini pizzas. After that we went upstairs and filled out booklets and looked at leaves. Then we went and explored the forest even more(boring I know). Then we were looking at trees. When we came back we had snack. For snack we had salad. Then we went outside and had races. After the races we then went and explored even more of the forest. After we were done exploring the forest, we play predator versus prey. Of course I couldn't eat anyone. When we were done playing predator versus prey we left the forest and back to the school we went.
I like Bennett center because of my roommates. My roommates are Ryan and Davis, There are my friends so That's one thing I liked about Bennett Center.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I really, Really like the food in there. We have Chicken, pizza, milk, cereal, and Apple juice. It's awesome. I love Bennett Center. And we also watch A pretty boring movie, We play Jenga and all
kind of games like that. Plus we got to sleep at The Bennett center, which is so fun! That's all.

Best field trip ever! The best part was the sleepover of course. The bed's were pretty crummy thought. I remember rolling down the hill too. It's not that bad after a few minutes. I think the most boring part was looking at bugs. My favorite meal was the chicken. The skin was very good. The marsmellows were a nice complement. When I woke up I hit my head. Too bad we can't go again.

Well in my opinion everybody had good time , too bad I wasn't here . I was reading a "Science Book" than had a supper and packed my thing because we were going to CALGARY we were gonna go to a 4 star Hotel it was so epic but one bad thing is 4 hour messed up drive gosh we got lost 5 times in different streets.We went to the big mall gosh always forget the name.

i loved how we played pred vs prey and my roommates were awesome i also liked the work it wasn't to hard so it was easy couple of days so over all i enjoyed

bennett center is the best they have good food and we got to play out side for an hour or two we played football we went out side to look at trees went into the forest we got to stay over nigt

ReplyDeleteI was only at the Bennett center for one day because I went hunting for one week. So I didn't get to sleep over at the Bennett center. I don't think that the sleep over would be very fun anyway. But on the first day I found it pretty fun. I was assigned a room that I was happy about for one reason; I was not sleeping in that room! On that day The favorite thing that I did was finding animals that were doing things to the dirt because I liked taring apart a dead log. I found some earth worms in it. That was interesting to see it make a hole in the ground. That was my favorite part of the trip.

I really agree i thought the bennet center was really fun. we went for a portage walk and a hunt (GRADE 5)
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the Bennett Center also! I liked when we got to split into groups and collect pretend animal pelts! Are team came in 2 by 1 point but that was because the other team was cheating! It was still fun though! I also loved the pretty scenery when we were walking their, and when we were their!So glad we went!

The Bennett Center was the funnest field trip ever. We learned so much information about the trees and wildlife. I had so much fun playing predator and pray and the food was so good. I like the people who I roomed with. I like playing football, bilingual vs english and the race to see who was the fastest grade 6. the people were so nice to use.

The rooms at the Bennett center were kinda creepy cause under the mattress so you could put your things under it. There were bugs and spider webs it was weird.

The Bennett center was really fun field trip ever. We got to carry foam boats and make fire with flint a steel.We got climb up a giant hill singing and carry boats up a hill.
